Our Lord tells you and me to pray lest we may fall into temptation. The word “temptation” here means experiencing difficulties. The Lord is telling us to stay awake and pray always lest we fall into such temptation. Moreover, the Lord also said God blesses those who endure temptation.
The Lord said, “But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.
